In part the show career of Amuri-Pajkos Borzois is due to excellent young handlers who have been always around me enthusiastly helping at shows. They are not only handlers but taking part in training as well. I would like to put Bernadett Kun in highlight as she joined us several times.

Special thanks to the Varasdi Sisters supporting me every possible way as family members at all events and also with the breeding in the past.

Our present rising star is Juraj Steviar the young Slovakian handler of Camus, competing in Junior Handler competitions at international shows.

I've been showing Borzois myself all over Europe and even in the US in the 1996-2006 period. Due to my friends overseas, I've been asked for showing Borzois in the States. The American show world impressed me a lot. I gained invaluable experiences while showing Borzois in the States.

Coursing

In 2001 I became a General Secretary, later the President of Szeged Sighthound Club. Several lure coursing competitions have been organized by me in the 2001-2006 period. I suppose the best way of competition for Borzois is the lure coursing as it is great opportunity for the dogs to express themselves according to their instincts and excellent hunting qualities. Several Amuri-Pajkos Borzois have shown to the world of lure coursing. I would like to highlight my Bogi who is a great courser and gave many coursing champion to the world, such as the American Field Champion Dama and Dallam. She and her offsprings played important part in making lure coursing more popular in Hungary and in Serbia as well where the very first lure coursing has been organized by me in 2005.

Racing

Regarding racing I would like to put Amuri-Pajkos Doxa and Ferike in highlight.

After winning several Hungarian Racing Championship in Isaszeg in 2006, Doxa was placed 3rd on the World Racing Championship in 2006 and came to 4th place in 2007.

After winning the Puppy Derby in 2007, the Czech Grand Prix and the Austrian Championship in 2008, Ferike was placed 2nd on the World Racing Championship in Oude Pekela, The Netherlands in 2008.

Several other Amuri-Pajkos Borzoi make us proud on races all over Europe such as Desszert and Etalon.

Breeding

Amuri-Pajkos Borzoi is a small kennel and has only raised a few litters of puppies in the last fourteen years. Our dogs are raised with much love and attention and are well-socialized.

We are in a close cooperation with the Slovakian Mraja Borzoi. Jana Mrazova is a great friend of mine whose honest and loving personality has amazed me from the very start. Nowadays she is the front person of the breeding of Amuri-Pajkos. Recently she has raised the G litter for us out of our USA import Phaedra Camus.
